Where to even begin. We watched this movie on the 15/03/2024. I began by hyping the movie up since it’s a movie about planes and it was unlike to for STEPSIS, to accept and watch it. Tom Cruise as main character as well as producer, returns to the character of United States Navy Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, to show us how the past will influence the future when Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw and son of Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw, who died in the original. Cleary the most impressive thing about this movie is how absolutely insane it is for using REAL F-18 Fighter Jets for the action scenes, while showing the cast inside. This along with surprising performances from everyone involved, make this movie heart-breaking while the relationship of Rooster and Maverick develops in to Father-Son, and the difficulties they face, AND ASS-CLENCHING WHILE TOM CRUISE GOES PHOOOOOOSHHHH IN A F-18. This is now our favourite movie.
